PROSPORT ENTERTAINMENT

Shelby Wells-Britton
Owner/President

ProSport Entertainment owner and president, Shelby Wells-Britton, was born in San Diego, CA and lived in various cities up and down the West Coast before attending college at the University of California, San Diego.  After receiving her B.A. she stayed in America's Finest City where she worked briefly in the pharmaceutical industry before turning her focus to her passion in the entertainment industry.  Shelby has also earned an MBA from San Diego State University.

Shelby has been involved in the cheerleading and dance industry for 16 years and in ice hockey entertainment since 1997. She has a unique background in promotions, marketing and business development. Prior to her tenure at UCSD, Shelby spent three years choreographing and coaching cheerleading teams in Central California. She has trained at the Academy of Performing Arts in San Diego, the Broadway Dance Center in New York, and Cherry Creek Dance and the Shelly True Dance Academy in Denver. Shelby has also worked as a spokes-model and print model for various organizations during the last ten years. Her cheerleading and dancing experience includes college cheerleading at UCSD and professional dancing as a member of the San Diego Gulls Girls, the AFL World Champion Colorado Crush dance team and, currently, the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders.


Through ProSport Entertainment she has worked with such professional sports dance teams as the San Diego Flash Girls, the San Diego Sockers' dance and promotional teams, the Long Beach Ice Dogs 'Ice Breakers', the San Diego Gulls Girls and the NHL Phoenix Coyotes.

Kat Brown
Fire and Ice USA Team Director

Kat takes on the role of Fire and Ice USA Director after three years as a member of the team, two of which she held the title of Co-Captain. As a former veteran and Inaugural Member of the team Kat is very knowledgeable about team operations and very dedicated to the team and its members.  She has many years of dance training and teaching experience as well as experience in spokes-modeling and modeling.  She has volunteered many hours to charitable organizations throughout the San Diego community as a member of the team.  Kat looks forward to contributing to the continued success of Fire and Ice USA throughout her tenure as Team Director.

Melissa Graham
"Fire Starters!" Dance Team Director

Melissa Graham joins ProSport Entertainment as the first director of the new Fire Starters in Denver, Colorado after the team moved from Southern California.  She has many years of dance and performance experience to share with her new young charges.  Melissa finished her first season with the Colorado Crush Girls during the 2005-06 season.  Prior to this she spent two years on the Sugar Bears dance team at University of Northern Colorado and four years on the varsity dance team at Ponderosa High School.  She has extensive ballet and jazz training at various studios in Colorado and New York City.  In addition to the Fire Starters, Melissa helps coach and choreographs for the senior and junior competitive dance teams at The Pointe Dance Academy where she teaches full time .
